2022 Mercedes-AMG EQS 53 on sale from £154,995 | Autocar

The dual-motor set-up allows totally variable all-wheel drive, though AMG has made the rear motor “significantly highly effective” via a six-phase design and AMG-specific cooling capabilities to spice up the motor’s effectivity. 

Energy is saved in a 107.8kWh lithium ion battery with a 400V structure, which options bespoke AMG wiring to help efficiency and provide a variety of 358 miles. The battery administration system has been customised for the EQS 53, enabling better efficiency in Sport and Sport+ driving modes.
