Rivian delays deliveries of R1S SUV, reviews say

Rivian Aujtomotive Inc., the EV producer backed by Amazon Inc., Ford Motor Co. and others, has began notifying prospects who’ve reserved the R1S SUV of supply delays, media retailers reported on Wednesday.

Shares in Rivian fell 3.3 % to $115.89 in afternoon buying and selling.

The corporate had earlier stated R1S would start manufacturing on the Regular, Unwell., plant in December, with the primary deliveries anticipated in January.

Rivian has now began sending emails to prospects to tell them that the supply window has been modified to between Might and July on the earliest, in response to media retailers InsideEVs and Electrek.
