Morrie’s Auto Group has entered its third state, shopping for two Michigan Ford dealerships from vendor Barry Merrill.
Morrie’s of Minnetonka, Minn., on Monday bought Grand Ledge Ford-Lincoln and Merrill Okemos Ford, each within the suburbs of Lansing, Michigan’s capital metropolis. The shops might be renamed Morrie’s Grand Ledge Ford-Lincoln and Morrie’s Okemos Ford.
Merrill owned the Grand Ledge retailer for almost 20 years, whereas he purchased the Okemos retailer in 2017, in line with the Grand Ledge retailer’s web site.
“This acquisition will present a powerful foothold in a brand new market as we proceed to develop and purchase extra shops throughout the Midwest,” Morrie’s CEO Lance Iserman stated in a press release. “Each dealerships share an identical strategy to Morrie’s, with a buyer pleasant, best-price gross sales course of and a concentrate on buyer expertise.”
The acquisitions observe Morrie’s in February shopping for six Wisconsin dealerships, as the corporate purchased a majority curiosity in Brenengen Auto Group of West Salem, Wis.
Morrie’s has now added 12 dealerships since 2016, together with opening two open factors. Morrie’s represents 23 manufacturers, with areas in Minnesota, Wisconsin and Michigan.
