Elon Musk desires it recognized that Apple would not have the market cornered on overpriced equipment.
The Tesla CEO urged his Twitter followers to purchase the $50 stainless-steel Cyberwhistle formed like the corporate’s upcoming Cybertruck electrical pickup. He referenced the $19 Sprucing Fabric that Apple launched this fall.
“Blow the whistle on Tesla!” Musk tweeted final week. “Do not waste your cash on that foolish Apple Fabric, purchase our whistle as a substitute!”
Inside hours, Tesla’s web site stated the whistle was out of inventory.
“Impressed by Cybertruck, the limited-edition Cyberwhistle is a premium collectible comprised of medical-grade stainless-steel with a refined end,” the positioning explains. “The whistle contains an built-in attachment characteristic for added versatility.”
But when consumers later determine it isn’t fairly versatile sufficient for his or her medical-grade whistling wants, they’re out of luck. Tesla warns that it will not settle for returns for any motive.
